By Cyril Ramaphosa
This blog article originally posted on the ANC blog. See link below.
“Speaking at a Human Rights commemoration this weekend, ANC President Jacob Zuma said an incoming ANC government would establish a special unit in the Presidency to monitor the performance of ministers and senior public servants.
This is a welcome development, signaling the ANC’s determination to ensure that government responds to the needs of the people. But the challenge of holding ministers and others in the executive to account should not be placed solely in the hands of such a unit.
In fact, one of the chief responsibilities of members of parliament is to ensure that government departments are doing what is required of them. The people who will be elected by the people of South Africa as their representatives on 22 April must act in the interests of these voters by holding the executive to the mandate they have been given.
It means that MPs should not be afraid to challenge ministers whose departments are under performing, even if the ministers are from their own party (and possibly more senior than them in the party hierarchy). This may not always be easy, but they have been entrusted by the people to undertake such a task. The instruction that all ANC MPs will receive from their party is to serve the people and advance their interests.
This does not mean that Parliament should become a platform for grandstanding, where public representatives clamour for media attention. Rather it should be a place where government leaders believe they need to account for the work of their departments.
To play such a role, MPs need to have a thorough understanding of the government departments they are supposed to oversee, and knowledge of that particular field. They need to have adequate research support, and ready access to information from these departments. In its list of candidates, the ANC has sought to achieve a balance between retaining experience and infusing parliament and the legislatures with new blood. This should ensure that the older hands are able to pass on skills and knowledge to the newcomers.
Knowledge and experiences is important in this job. Political courage even more so. But if MPs always remember that they serve in these institutions on behalf of the people, then they will have the confidence they need to always advance their interests.”
About Cyril Ramaphosa
Cyril Ramaphosa is the former leader of the single largest trade union movement in South Africa - NUM (National Union of Mineworkers). He organized the most powerful movement against the apartheid bosses and received both national and international accolades for his indefatigable work. I recall recruiting people of the Free State for the COSATU umbrella body of which NUM was an affiliate and we were asking people to join COSATU. People didn't care to know the name COSATU they asked us if we wanted them to join Ramaphosa and if we said yes then they signed up. The great Ramaphosa is the living legend in the great struggle for African freedom and advancement. Ntate Ramaphosa is the founder of a very successfull and powerful company Shanduka.

Bishop Tutu’s Criticism Too Harsh
Monday, March 23, 2009

The Nobel Prize laureate and celebrated anti-apartheid freedom fighter Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa has fired a strong criticism at the ruling ANC government for refusing to grant visa to the Tibetan leader His Holiness Dalai Lama. Adding to that line of attack from a different angle is the former apartheid President and Nobel Prize laureate Mr. F.W. de Klerk who has refused to attend the March 27 Peace Conference related to the 2010 FIFA World Cup if South Africa does not reverse its position by granting visa to Dalai Lama.
Oxford, UK - Western Shugden Society Demonstration Against Dalai Lama's Ban - from shugdenwss of Youtube
For its part, the South African government has clarified its position by saying that granting visa to Dalai Lama would take the focus away from the 2010 World Cup and on those grounds has decided against granting the visa. The Government also alluded to the fact that granting visa to Dalai Lama would hurt its interests. This fact lends credence to others who have come out with guns blazing that South Africa succumbed to the pressure by the Chinese authorities that are pouring lots of resources into the development projects of South Africa.
China’s Support for Development Projects
Let’s analyze this situation a bit. South Africa desperately needs to finance its development projects in order to eliminate the extreme poverty and suffering which pose an impressive threat to the democratic achievements of that country. The godsend China says we will help fund your development projects. The ill-timed Peace Conference and its organizers decide to invite Dalai Lama and the Chinese government get the wind of this and say “it would really help if you didn’t grant visa to Dalai Lama since we might change our minds about funding your desperately needed development projects” South Africa responds in kind by saying “akunamathata”. The italics are mine.
Criticism from Bishop Tutu and Mr. de Klerk
On the one hand, I can understand Mr. de Klerk condemning the ruling ANC. After all he does not identify with the dichotomy in which the ruling ANC finds itself with respect to the urgent needs of the African natives. On the other hand, to be condemned by Bishop Tutu is like breaking the back of the camel considering the unenviable position in which South Africa finds itself to which the Bishop contributed greatly through his economically disenfranchising policy of peace and reconciliation. Moreover the credibility of the Peace Conference is going to depend on the success of peace and reconciliation implementation in South Africa meaning that if the African natives cannot testify positively about peace and reconciliation as far as their lives are concerned then why hold the Peace Conference in the first place? How can you celebrate the peaceful transition that economically disenfranchised the majority of the African natives and enriched the colonial descendents?
Bishop Tutu’s Peace and Reconciliation
Bishop Tutu should be the last person to criticize South Africa since he was the consistent and vigorous champion who pushed through the concept of peace and reconciliation against the conscience of many victims of apartheid. The only people that were on the receiving end of the heavy-handedness of peace and reconciliation were the African natives while the colonial descendents enjoyed the fruits of both apartheid and the new democracy.
Apartheid, Perpetrators, Forgiveness: Desmond Tutu's views - litxlit of Youtube
If we reverse wind the tape of history and review the events of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Bishop Tutu was the Chairman and Dr. Alex Borain was a Vice-Chairman. Bishop Tutu also played a pivotal role during the transition of South Africa from apartheid to the present day democracy. We pay tribute to the great Bishop for the sacrifices he made in the anti-apartheid movement as well as the advent of democratic rule. Nonetheless, the African natives of South Africa were put in a situation were they had to forgive and forget the wrongs of their brutal apartheid masters in exchange for nothing by way of reparations.
I recall having this conversation with Dr. Alex Borain when he addressed a crowd at a Nelson Mandela Lecture in Canada. He pointed out that Bishop Tutu went too far in sometimes badgering an African mother to forgive her oppressors. He indicated that, at times, he called Bishop Tutu to order on this matter. Dr. Borain disagreed with Bishop Tutu on forcing the peace and reconciliation down the throat of the apartheid victims. The position of Dr. Borain was that the African mother must be allowed to forgive at her own time when she is ready.
Technical Support for Peace and Reconciliation
It probably would help if Bishop Tutu provided a technical support for his idea of peace and reconciliation. The purpose of this technical support, with a toll free number, would be to fix the problems associated with peace and reconciliation, which left the African mothers holding an empty bag including the very problem when the ANC government finds itself in a situation of dichotomy. This would go a long way in lending credibility to the concept of peace and reconciliation. Bishop Tutu would also have an opportunity to fix the damage with respect to the manner in which this process was implemented. Some of the problems to be addressed would include land distribution. Another good thing out of this technical support is that it would result in a big support centre in South Africa devoted not to the private coffers of greedy and exploitative capitalists but rather to the betterment of others, which in itself promotes peace and reconciliation.
As I write these lines, 50 000 White farmers (some of whom shoot and kill black girls or throw the black boys into the lions to be eaten live and never have to pay for their crime) enjoy a monopolistic stranglehold on more than 80% of the food producing land while the African mother and her children scratch for food on the garbage dumps because she has no land to grow food. I nearly died when I saw one photograph published in the Sowetan Newspaper of these mothers. You find them everywhere including one place Viljoenskroon in the Free State Province. These mothers eventually die from this kind of scavenging because, unlike other countries, South African restaurants mix their food dumps with other hazardous materials like broken glasses and more.
Some colonial descendents of South Africa don’t care about these mothers because they have been socialized to believe that an African native is expendable and must shrivel and die. What is the basis for saying this? Look at the Stone Age living conditions of the African mothers. Despite fifteen years of democracy, the African mothers continue to bear the brunt of economic apartheid. The ANC government is stymied in finding creative ways of helping to address the situation. The new leader of the ANC Mr. Jacob Zuma has vowed to change the equation of wealth distribution so that more development can take place among the African natives. Needless to say that those who want the status quo to remain edged in stone are fighting back against Mr. Zuma including a spirited campaign of vilifying him. Incredibly, it was Mr. Jacob Zuma who brought the peaceful transition in South Africa and today they are throwing rocks at him threatening the very peace they are touting. Mr. Zuma never got a Nobel Peace Prize for the peace, which others now take for granted. Without Mr. Zuma there would be no peace in South Africa today. Mr. Zuma is very philosophical about it and bears no grudge against anyone and continues the work of peace. He recently met with Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi to promote peace and only Mr. Zuma has the credibility when it comes to peace and reconciliation among warring factions because he promotes peace on the shifting ground.
The peace and reconciliation of Bishop Tutu meant that African natives did not demand what was theirs in terms of land. White farmers did pledge, under the inspiration of peace and reconciliation, to release 30% of the land to the African natives in five years. Where is that 30% today? They changed their minds and reneged on their commitments in 1999 and the ANC government was left holding an empty bag. Now the ANC government is scrambling to find a solution to this critical problem of providing land and lo and behold the Chinese have come at an opportune time. If we paid a visit to the economically disenfranchised African mother for purposes of drumming up support for the peace conference, it would not mean anything to her. However, if you told her about putting food on the table, then you are talking.
Conclusion
The great Bishop Tutu has been pivotal in the birth of the new political dispensation in South Africa. His peace and reconciliation produced bittersweet results at best. To lend credibility to this much needed concept of peace and reconciliation necessitates a technical support so that the concept can mean something and not just something collecting dust in the government shelves. A technical support would bring a pause to the sharp condemnation of the government, which is making a good faith attempt to address the urgent needs of its people.

The Great Xhosa Prince Meligqili
Wednesday, March 18, 2009
By Vusi Moloi © 2009
The great intellectual son of the formidable Xhosa King Dalindyebo, Prince Meligqili once spoke powerful words at a traditional Xhosa ceremony welcoming the new graduates of the mountain school which, among others, provided a rite of passage for the Xhosa boys. The graduates of this institution of learning known as abakhwetha included in their midst the future President of South Africa the venerable Mr. Nelson Mandela. This school that produces abakhwetha is an indigenous school of learning which the English summarily and pejoratively referred to as a circumcision school. In fact circumcision is one piece of the learning experience to symbolize a separation of the unschooled boys from the learned ones.
Remarks on African Indigenous Systems of Learning
Just before sharing the speech of Prince Meligqili, let me make a few remarks about the indigenous institutions of learning. The traditional society of South Africa boasted some of the most advanced schools and colleges of higher learning long before the advent of the colonizing Europeans who eventually subdued and destroyed these academic institutions. Despite the colonial conquest of these institutions, some of the schools survived including at KwaZulu Natal where they still have colleges of medicine like Umhlabawalingana (equivalent of a University institution in a Western society) that train and produce doctoral experts in the practice of African medicine. In fact some of the oldest University institutions are found on the African continent like Timbuktu in the present day country of Mali which was a University town long before Universities existed in some European societies. Colonial conquest gave the colonizers and their descendents control over the learning and communication of ideas and made Africans into products of a Eurocentric system of education. This Eurocentric system of learning inculcated a sense of disdain towards African civilization making some Africans, including this writer, into parrots of Western ideas. The purpose of this new colonial system of learning was to usher a new order of master servant relationships where the African spent all his or her life serving the colonial descendents while neglecting the development and advancement of African civilization.
Prince Meligqili Addressing the New Graduates Abakwetha
Prince Meligqili saw this sad state of affairs when he spoke to the graduates of the Xhosa tradition system of learning. This ancient institution of African learning is not a circumcision school as we are led to believe by the English but rather one of many schools that impart a large body of knowledge to the young initiates. On this occasion the venerable Mr. Nelson Mandela was among the graduating abakhwetha and Prince Meligqili addressed the gathering as documented by the venerable Mr. Mandela himself in his book Long Walk To Freedom:
“There sit your sons, young, healthy and handsome, the flower of the Xhosa tribe, the pride of our nation. We have just circumcised them in a ritual that promises them manhood, but I am here to tell you that it is an empty, illusory promise, a promise that can never be fulfilled. For we Xhosa, and all Black South Africans, are a conquered people. We are slaves in our own country. We are tenants on our own soil. We have no strength, no power, no control over our own destiny in the land of our birth. They will go to cities where they will live in shacks and drink cheap alcohol, all because we have no land to give them where they could prosper and multiply. They will cough their lungs out deep in the bowels of the White man’s mines, destroying their health, never seeing the sun, so that the White man can have a life of unequalled prosperity. Among these young men are Chiefs who will never rule because we have no power to govern ourselves; soldiers who will never fight for we have no weapons to fight with; scholars who will never teach because we have no place for them to study. The abilities, the intelligence, the promise of these young men will be squandered in their attempt to eke out a living doing the simplest, most mindless chores for the White man. These gifts today are naught, for we cannot give them the greatest gift of all, which is freedom and independence. I well know that Qamata is all-seeing and never sleeps, but I have a suspicion that Qamata may in fact be dozing. If this is the case, the sooner I die the better because then I can meet him and shake him awake and tell him that the children of Ngubengcuku, the flower of the Xhosa nation, are dying.” From Long Walk To Freedom – Autobiography of Nelson Mandela.

Carleton University Awards Prestigious Doctorate of Architecture to Mr. David J. Azrieli
Thursday, March 12, 2009
By Vusi Moloi ©2009
(Originally published at AfroCaribOttawa on November 17 2003)
Carleton University has honoured an internationally celebrated architect and developer Mr. David J. Azrieli at a convocation ceremony held in Ottawa yesterday. Mr. Azrieli received a prestigious honour of Doctor of Architecture.
Rated near the top of 100 richest Canadians by Canadian Business last year with a net worth exceeding $2.3 billion Mr. Azrieli ranked comfortably ahead of the highly respected Bombardier family followed closely by the Jamaican born investment guru Mr. Michael Lee-Chin weighing in at $1.7 billion. The only super-wealthy Canadian sitting at the top of the pinnacle was Mr. Kenneth Thompson at a whopping $21.5 billion having made most of his fortune in the high tech boom and one of the few to weather the technology shakedown!
Delivering his energizing convocation speech Mr. Azrieli spoke about his humble beginnings and the real estate property he built. A self-made man with the highest degree of motivation, Mr. Azrieli achieved what to most is unachievable. Before coming to Canada in 1954 Mr. Azrieli lived in South Africa and England. The viewpoints he expressed resonated with many in the audience.
It is interesting to note that despite his impressive and enviable success, Mr. Azrieli’s life of dizzying heights has not been without hurdles of its own. In fact two things seemed to have had a significant impact on his life i.e. his unfinished architecture studies at Haifa’s Technikon University of Palestine as well as his architectural genius. Taking a shot at his failure to complete his studies in Palestine due to the 1948 Arab-Israeli war some of his critics have referred to him as pretending to be an architect without proper credentials. His architectural genius, albeit unorthodox, has led some to characterize him as lacking sensitivity towards the local historical and cultural heritage.
These kinds of criticisms only served to catapult him into greater heights. As if to silence his critics he returned to school in 1997 when he was 75 years old for a newly created post-professional Master of Architecture degree at Carleton University. Not only did Mr. Azrieli complete a Master of Architecture degree but he graduated with a bang silencing his critics forever. This went a long way to fix the damage of the past.
In his enthusing and spellbinding speech Mr. Azrieli reminisced “A number of years ago, I sat where you do - a graduate in Architecture - feeling the satisfaction of having successfully completed two years of hard work. My own experiences at Carleton illuminated and brought together the three most important elements of what I have come to see as the encompassing philosophy for professional success and personal fulfillment: never stop learning, do what you love, and give back to the community.”
Mr. Azrieli did exactly that by generously donating $2.7 million to Carleton University which went towards the David J. Azrieli Pavilion and Theatre. According to the convocation program booklet the facility houses the David J. Azrieli Institute for Graduate Studies in Architecture as well as Carleton’s newly created joint Bachelor of Information Technology with Algonquin College. Mr. Azrieli’s endorsement of the university has resulted in the Ontario government awarding over $40 million in infrastructure funding to the university.
The inexorable determination of Mr. Azrieli has put him on a collision path with certain historical and cultural conservationists some of whom were approached by AfroCarib but declined comment. In fact legal action both in Israel and Canada formed part of a people’s struggle to stop his architectural advances but the unstoppable Mr. Azrieli stayed the course.
One such situation in which Mr. Azrieli stayed the course despite popular resistance pertains to Sir William Cornelius Van Horne’s 52 room mansion which was built in 1869 on Sherbrook Street in Montreal, Quebec. Sir William Cornelius Van Horne was the father of the CP rail and he is also credited with having launched the fine arts career path of the internationally renowned Canadian Artist James Wilson Morrice. What has been referred to as a historical and heritage gem by many was finally demolished by Mr. Azrieli despite court injunction efforts to block the demolition and some in the Montreal circles have never forgiven him for that. As if to add to an existing aggravation Mr. Azrieli installed a plaque of his resemblance in the new office building. In one of the articles published by the Montreal Mirror the writer said “Far from feeling ashamed, Azrieli installed a plaque in his own honour at the corner of the generic office building that went up on the site.” Another architect and a conservationist Phyllis Lambert attempted without success to dissuade Mr. Azrieli from knocking down the building by offering to buy the Sir Van Horne building from him.
The Jewish Bulletin of Northern California published in March 26 1996 said this about Mr. Azrieli “Irked by the controversy and lawsuits that have plagued his bid to radically change the Israeli way of doing business, he remains optimistic his towering ambition will be vindicated.”
In fact controversies and negative campaigns seemed to fuel Mr. Azrieli’s success. Today there are two towering skyscrapers in Israel known as Azrieli Towers and they form the most sophisticated and largest building complexes in the Middle East at a price tag of $400 million US. In place of Sir William Horne's mansion is now a five star hotel to which Mr. Azrieli alluded by a process of elimination when was talking about projects that most influenced him "...surprisingly, it was not the later, larger, more technologically advanced projects that I did such as the Azrieli Center or the more recent conversion of the office building that I designed and built some 30 years ago in downtown Montreal into a beautiful 5-star hotel." This hotel is known as Sofitel Montreal and can be viewed at this web address www.sofitel.com.
Nothing succeeds like success and successful people know what they want and they will, despite adversity, achieve their glorious achievements. The President of Carleton University Richard Van Loon said “the students graduating today can be nothing but inspired by the life and accomplishments of David Azrieli”

Mr. Azrieli and now Doctor of Architecture is a CEO of a privately held company Canpro Investments Ltd. He has received the highest civilian honour ever accorded the Order of Canada as well as the Order of Quebec. The Israeli Prime Minister has awarded him the Jubilee Award the highest honour in that country and there are many more awards that Mr. Azrieli has been honoured with around the globe. The White Establishment - Part I
The White Establishment – Part II
The Fundamental Premise
The fundamental premise of the White Establishment is rooted in the fact that the English decided to grow their territorial size by invading their neighbours like the Welsh, the Scot and the Irish with the result that unifying the conquered lands under a single English flag against the will of the peoples of those conquered lands imposed a perpetual situation of antagonistic contradictions with respect to the principles of democracy, fairness and neighbourliness.
Invasion of the Neighbours
Without regard for the rules which govern mutual respect among neighbours, the English embarked on the conquest of Wales, Scotland and Ireland in order to build a stronger empire.
The Fall of Wales
Wales fell under England on December 11, 1282 when the great Welsh Prince (son of King Gruffydd ap Llywelyn Fawr) Llywelyn ap Gruffydd who fought on behalf of his people was killed in an ambush on that day and his forces were subdued by the English imperialists. King Gruffydd had previously been offered a bribe of affluent property in England in exchange for giving up control of his beautiful motherland Wales. He rejected the bribery and King Edward I, who had been given Wales by his father, unleashed his imperialist forces upon the people of Wales. Interestingly, the present day descendents of Wales continue to hold their head high despite this crushing defeat with this motto “Cymru Am Byth” which means Wales Forever!

The Fall of Ireland
Ireland fell under England on January 1st, 1801. When the Anglo-Irish Treaty became effective on December 6, 1921 as a result of ending the Irish War of Independence; what was then known as Great Britain became the United Kingdom.

We have just presented a distilled version of the genesis of the white establishment. Why are these facts relevant to our analytical discussion of the White Establishment? It shall become clear to you that the current behaviour of the English is rooted in these events with reference to the PDP Syndrome and the Psychopathic Behaviour of Oppression.
The PDP Syndrome
The PDP Syndrome is derived from my scholarly work Perversity of Disconnected Pimples whereby a person with pimples becomes fixated around two things (1) to arrest the growth of the pimples and to subdue them in this way and (2) to eliminate them. A pimple is a very interesting phenomenon. It rises up when least expected and refuses to go away once it has become bevelled. It usually grows at night. In the poem Life Must Go On we read these lines:
“When Mmatshilo instructed the people
Adversity bevelled like a stubborn pimple
Despite conjugating the vibes
of permanent emancipation” Moloi, Moloi, The Indomitable Mongoose, ©2004
The pimple starts off with a benign beginning and then gets stronger and harder to resist as time progresses. People who grow pimples resort to a variety of techniques designed to suppress them. Whatever technique is employed, in the ferocious campaign against the pimples, it usually comes back to haunt the person because of the battle scars left afterwards especially if the person decided to carry out a scorched earth policy against the most stubborn pimples.
A pimple warrior ends up developing a set of symptoms known as PDP from Perversity of Disconnected Pimples as described above. This is the syndrome whereby a fighter of pimples develops psychopathic tendencies which usually become fused with schizophrenic behaviour. At this juncture I would like to lay the groundwork with the scientific analysis of psychopathic and schizophrenic tendencies before delving further into the PDP Syndrome.
Psychopathic Tendencies
We are interested in two features of psychopathic behaviour i.e. (1) disconnectedness from reality and (2) emotional numbness.
Disconnectedness From Reality
A psychopathic individual is disconnected from reality. There is no interest with respect to appreciating and embracing reality. This is because reality is objective and one must either accept or reject its guidance. This is theoretically due to the fact that reality upsets the sense of stability and mental equilibrium so that reality is perceived as a potentially threatening experience. This does not mean that the individual rejects all reality in toto but rather the individual tunes out any type of reality that creates a feeling of instability with respect to the individual’s sense of control.
Emotional Numbness
The fundamental premise of a psychopathic behaviour is that of being devoid of empathy. That means that what sets a person apart in terms of psychopathic tendencies from the one without is the fact that a psychopathic individual is emotionally numb and perhaps even emotionally dead. If you tell a psychopathic person about the emotional pain you felt when you lost a job interview, he or she may not make a specific response to your pain. If they do respond at all, they may say something which is not relevant to the topic of pain. The act of ignoring someone’s pain when it’s an important point of discussion for them, is a psychopathic behaviour. Usually a person with a psychopathic behaviour can hurt you, harm you, abandon you or even take your life.
How then does a psychopathic person connect with others if they are incapable of emotional connection? They interact with others on the basis of the car salesman approach. A car salesman is motivated by one thing towards you and that is to sell you the car. He will describe the attractive features of the car to pique your interest. He may not even give you a chance to express your reaction because he may lose control over the situation and never make the sale. They only pick snippets of your reaction and counter any hesitation you might have by telling you about how much this car will be good for you.
They may not even give you the opportunity to lift the hood of the car just in case you find out that the car has no engine. So they are trying to sell you a car without an engine and they have put in place some rules in fine print which stipulate that once you sign for the purchase order, the car is yours even though you may discover afterwards that the car doesn’t have an engine. For this reason, it’s not in the interest of the salesman to lift the hood so that you can inspect the car for yourself. They would rather inspect the car themselves on your behalf or get someone with “credentials” to inspect the car for you.
Schizophrenic Behaviour
Schizophrenia refers to the fact that a person has a split personality. There are two elements of schizophrenic behaviour which are of interest to our analysis i.e. (1) paranoid behaviour and (2) oversensitive behaviour to certain stimuli.
Paranoid Behaviour
A schizophrenic person usually thinks that others are out to get him or her. He or she feels threatened by others. Even though psychiatry tends to mystify this type of behaviour, the causes are based in reality. A schizophrenic person carries the mental footprints of a situation which engender this feeling of paranoia. He or she may not be able to articulate or express this experience but we know that it’s connected with some lingering memories which evoke a sense of being threatened. We can describe such a phenomenon as a survival reducing experience.
Oversensitivity To Select Stimuli
Another feature of a schizophrenic behaviour is the enhanced response to certain stimulus phenomena. The individual does not respond equally to all stimuli but will overreact to certain test stimuli. This is because the test stimulus bears strong resemblance with respect to the residual memory that contributes to the individual’s sense of paranoia. Overreaction is an attempt on the part of the individual to mitigate survival risks.
The above mentioned features of a psychopathic and schizophrenic behaviour i.e. disconnectedness, emotional numbness, paranoia and oversensitivity engender another behavioural feature of behavioural rigidity. The individual becomes robotic in carrying out the repertoire of a certain behaviour. Now that we have established a scientific definition of these behaviour patterns, we can now apply this in our analysis of the White Establishment.
Psychopathic Behaviour of Oppression
Oppressing others requires a psychopathic as well as a schizophrenic behaviour so that the oppressor is emotionally numb towards the pain of the oppressed while at the same time championing the principles of democracy. The oppressor must also remain disconnected from the realities of the oppressed. This engenders a paranoid behaviour so that the oppressed are denied opportunities to freely express their viewpoints. This is how the psychopathic tendencies are cultivated and encouraged.
When the brave and resisting leader of the Welsh Gruffydd was killed in an ambush by the forces of the English, there was a jubilant celebration among the English in the streets of England. The English became emotionally numb towards the plight of the Welsh. When the great female warrior and medicine woman who resisted the English imperialism of British South Africa Company in Zimbabwe Mbuya Nehanda was brutally executed in broad daylight by the English, another rejoicing took place among the English.
This begs the question; how can one human being rejoice after inflicting pain upon others for what is otherwise their rightful birthright? This is only facilitated by a psychopathic behaviour. One must be disconnected from the reality of being an invader and somehow recast oneself as a humanitarian intervener in a situation where the savage natives would otherwise perish. At a certain time in history, the English were bringing religious salvation to the uncivilized societies around the globe. Today, they are bringing democracy to the rogue states around the globe.
Fighting Pimples is a Non-Trivial Exercise
As mentioned above, fighting pimples is not an easy task because one can become consumed by it at the expense of other important tasks which means that the fighter of pimples usually loses perspective on things. Another puzzling thing about the pimple is that you cannot fight it at its early stage because the pimple is still invisible and too embedded in the underlying skin and would leave an indelible scar on the skin if forcibly removed. You must let it grow and then at some point you can try to pop it with needle, safety pin or something of that effect.
Pimples can be embarrassing in the sense that they don’t obey the owner or toe the line. They grow at their own time at their own pace and their existence cannot be denied. What ends up happening is that since their existence is undeniable and you can’t really eliminate them, then some people resort to masking techniques to make them invisible. This strategy of masking is designed to falsify the existence of the pimples and thus deceive the outside world about the real deal in terms of the existence of the pimples.
The person who carries out this strategy of falsification gets caught in their own web of tricks and becomes fixated around the existence and resistance of the pimples and ends up developing a PDP syndrome as already described above. It probably would help if these pimples could be subdued under a single controlling system so that when you apply one solution to that system all the pimples can fall in line. That is an impossibility in itself because the growth points and geo-location of the pimples are beyond control. They have their own objective existence. For some of you who don’t know what is an objective existence, let me explain it to you. Suppose you and me look at a tree. I make a statement that this is a tree. We both will agree that it’s a tree. That’s because the tree is objective which means the tree exists independently of our mind or wish. Thus the pimple’s existence is objective and it cannot be controlled through our minds or wish. We must deal with the reality of the pimple in order to reach some kind of efficacy in dealing with it.
Applying the PDP to the English Establishment
The English have sought and succeeded in capturing the lands of other nations like the Welsh, the Scots and the Irish. They then ruled over all of these nations like they were ruling a single nation under a single English crown. However, these nations were independent with their distinct identities and crowns. Moreover, their geo-location remained distinct from England. They have their own GPS coordinates. They are like the pimples which cannot be unified. They grow at their own time and pace regardless of the wishes of the English. This creates an antagonistic contradiction in the concept of the United Kingdom and this antagonistic contradiction characterizes the behaviour of the English with respect to the non-English.
A celebrated British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain once wailed that he wished the English were like the Romans and the Germans. Why is that? The Romans and the Germans had something the English didn’t have and that was a unified country and peoples. They didn’t have to deal with the problem of territorial disconnectedness as is the case with the English. Since these constituent peoples of the United Kingdom were forced against their will, this meant that the English developed a PDP syndrome. This is the same syndrome that afflicts a teenager with nasty pimples. In fact the English treated the Welsh, the Scot and the Irish as nasty pimples that needed to be arrested, subdued or crushed.
Computational Neuroscience
There is an interesting interdisciplinary field of study known as Computational Neuroscience. This is basically a fusion of Computer Science and Neuroscience in the modelling, analysis and understanding of how the brain works. Within this field there is psychophysics which specifically looks at the interaction between a physical stimulus and its mental correlate. The founder of this branch of study is a German experimental psychologist and physicist Dr. Gustav Fechner. He derived a formula S = KLogI which basically says that the functional relationship between a physical stimulus on the one hand and its mental correlate on the other is governed by a logarithmic function. The K in the formula refers to some constant while the I refers to the actual physical stimulus and the S is the resulting sensation. Although other scholars like Stevens have come along to propose changes on this formula i.e. replacing a logarithm with a power function; my own independent mathematical analysis using the Thekwini Project shows that the relationship between a physical stimulus and its behavioural correlate is better modelled by logarithmic equations and calculus confirms this.
Why is the logarithmic system relevant to the question of the White Establishment? A logarithmic change is usually small and subtle but effective in its interaction with other objects. Since a logarithmic change is small, its subtle changes can be observed over a long time. If you were to take a segment over a domain of a logarithmic system, it would be difficult to notice a difference with a naked eye even though we know that there is a difference using computational methods.
The English have developed behaviour patterns which can be better modelled using the logarithmic system. For example the English are obsessed with optics i.e. how things look. They are interested in the subtleties of how they conduct themselves and the image they project to the outside world. They even worry about how they hold a fork and knife, the whiteness of a napkin and the sequence of the course meal. When an English person is preparing to give a speech in public, he spends most of the time, not developing the substance but rather honing the optical effects of the presentation. When you analyze the English techniques of public speaking, it’s all about presentation and less about substance. These things pertain to subtle changes and enhancements of reality. This stems from the fact the English came to a realization that it was impossible to unify independent nations by force and so one must rather spend more time on the cosmetics of the reality as opposed to the substance of reality. After all it’s cheaper to paint a pimple in such an artistic fashion that it blends seamlessly with the natural skin than to pay a dermatologist who will investigate the cause and apply the correct treatment regiment to eliminate the problem once and for all.
Microscopic Mind Partitioning
The cumulative effect of what has been outlined so far results in a behaviour pattern referred to as MMP from Microscopic Mind Partitioning. Maybe on another article we shall have an opportunity to expatiate on the MMP behaviour but for now we will make a few remarks on this important segment. MMP is about the mind acting as a microscope with the purpose of partitioning a stimulus object in front of it.
To understand MMP you must understand how the microscope works. First let’s pay tribute to the African engineer, doctor, and inventor Abbas Ibn Firnas who invented corrective lenses during the 9th century. The invention of a microscope was made possible by this African of North African heritage. At the time he invented the corrective lenses, Abbas Ibn Firnas lived in Spain where he was born and was part of the Moors who ruled the present day Peninsula of Iberia. The Persian physicist Alhazen who later left the present day Iran to live in North Africa and wrote a book on optics was inspired by this secret African knowledge since the African intellectuals possessed an advanced technology of converting sand into glass for purposes of magnification of text for reading, long before the Europeans.
Now that we have paid tribute to those who have gone before us, we can proceed with the discussion on the role of microscopes. Essentially a microscope enables the natural eye to see what is otherwise difficult, if not impossible, to see.
The person with MMP has a mind that works like a microscope. They see things which others may not see and react against those things which they see. If there is a subtle flaw or a potential soft spot on another person, an MMP individual will zero in on those spots and poke holes into them in order to undo that person’s state of humanity. This individual is very friendly and kind to others but reacts differently towards another who appears in the radar of his or her microscopic mind. This unusual behaviour was observed in Ottawa. There is no sense of remorse in this behaviour and it bears the hallmarks (described earlier) of psychopathic and schizophrenic tendencies.
Conclusion
In this article The White Establishment – Part III we dealt with the behaviour patterns and the psychology that drives such behaviour patterns. We demonstrated, using the analysis of computational neuroscience and Thekwini Project, that the psychopathic and schizophrenic tendencies are a prerequisite for an oppressive behaviour to be carried out.
